The Fall Session of the Rhine Education Center
The Rhine Education Center (www.rhineeducationcenter.org) introduces two new and exciting online courses beginning in September.  This unique opportunity is designed to provide professional education in the field of Parapsychology for those who have a curiosity about the field and those who are interested in a professional educational experience.

The Wandering Mind: Out of Body and Near Death Experiences
(Beginning September 16th. Watch the classes live or view the recordings at your convenience.)

Does consciousness or personality exist outside of the physical form?  Parapsychologists often explore this issue by looking into Out of Body and Near Death Experiences.  Are these experiences purely imagination and hallucinations or are these experiences evidence of a spirit that survives bodily death?

This 8 week online course will explore the phenomena of Out of Body Experience (OBE) and Near Death Experience (NDE) through an examination of case studies and personal experiences while providing a scientific examination of the topic through a review of the scientific articles and ongoing research.

When:
September 16 – November 4; one class per week for 8 weeks
What Time:
Classes will be broadcast each Monday from 6:30pm –8:30pm Eastern US Time, and they will be recorded for later viewing if you cannot attend the class live.
Where:
Since this is an online course, you can access the class from any computer that has a viable internet connection and meets the minimum system requirements.
Prerequisites:
None required, but Introduction to Paraspsychology is suggested.
Cost:
$199 per person.
$179 Rhine Research Center member or student enrolled in a degree program.
Note: Class times and dates are tentative and subject to change based on enrollment and instructor availability.

Premonitions and Precognition
(Beginning September 18th. Watch the classes live or view the recordings at your convenience.)

Fascinating cases have been recorded related to premonitions of disasters and normal everyday events. Reports include precognitive dreams, visions of train accidents, natural disasters, and even the tragedy at the world trade centers.  Our traditional perception of time does not explain how some people seem to receive information from the future.  Recent experimental studies by scientists such as Dean Radin, Dick Bierman, and Daryl Bem have provided solid scientific evidence that our subconscious precognitive perceptions affect our daily lives.

This 8 week online course examines cases of premonitions and helps to enlighten our knowledge of these events with an exploration of the experimental evidence of precognition.

When:
